Despite the introduction of training programs and safe work practices and procedures, controlling unsafe acts has proven to be difficult for some organisations. Behavioural Safety courses offer a way to reduce the incidence of unsafe actions by modifying people’s behaviours and improving their attitudes towards safety.

STRUCTURE

HSG48 ‘Reducing Error and Influencing Behaviour’ is key to this course.  The HSE provide guidance, methods and ways to influence positive behaviours in the workplace.  The course explores person-centred theories and looks at why we behave the way we do when at work.
